"All this fun is making me thirsty!"

Soon after returning to Utah, Grandma and Grandpa Hale had their 60th wedding anniversary. They celebrated by renting 2 condos in Park City for a week and inviting their children and grandchildren to come and stay with them. What does that have to do with this picture you ask? This was taken in the pool at the condos in Park City.

TENNESSEE: Emma's first birthday party.

TENNESSEE: Emma's first birthday! We had a little birthday party for Emma the week that we left Tennessee. We had it at my parent's lakehouse. I made Emma her very own birthday cake to demolish however she wished. As you can see, she did a pretty good job on it!

TENNESSEE: (Nursery show in Atlanta) While in the charge of my Mom and sister, we discovered that Emma likes Cheetos cheese puffs. And she likes to have one in each hand. And she likes to take a bite off one in her right hand, and then take a bite off the one in her left hand. What a funny baby!

TENNESSEE (sort of): During our last week in Tennessee, we went to the Southern Nursery Association nursery trade show. And of course, Emma came along. Here she is playing in one of the magazine racks next to our booth, showing off her new funny face.

TENNESSEE: This is what happens when you leave your mother and your 10-year old sister in charge of your kid while you go to work. This picture makes me laugh everytime I look at it. This is the hairbrush princess, Emma. Her hairbrush is her magic wand and she has a crown of feathers. I don't know how they managed to get her to leave the crown on long enough to get the picture, the kid won't wear a hairbow for anything!

TENNESSEE: We filled this tub full of warm water and daylilies, and put Emma in it to see what she would do. Hoping for a cute picture, we got this, and it will soon be making it's billboard debut somewhere along Highway 70 S near the nursery.

TENNESSEE: Here is Emma one Sunday morning before church, wearing one of my favorite dresses that she has. It is one that her Nannie gave her.

TENNESSEE: Here is Emma playing in one of her favorite play spots in her BB's house... it was a struggle to keep her OUT of the dishwasher...literally!

Here are Emma and her Aunt Kathy at Janel's wedding in June. Emma was really sick on this trip (the first time she has ever been sick). On the plane ride from Tennessee to Utah, Emma slept the whole time, which is highly unusual for her. By the time we landed in Salt Lake, she was burning hot with a fever of 104 degrees, and I was panicking! Luckily, I was able to get her in to see her doctor the next day, and it turned out that she had an ear infection. She wasn't the happiest baby on this trip, but she did a good job!

TENNESSEE: Much to my dad's delight, Emma teethed on his homemade beef jerkey, just like my brothers and sister and I all did!

TENNESSEE: Mom and Dad have tree frogs that stick on the window of the kitchen door at night. I got a bright idea to throw the frog in the tub with Emma during her bath one night. At first she was kind of scared of it but after it jumped all around the bathtub, she decided that it was a fun toy. And that if you squeeze it really hard it makes a funny noise.... I put it back on the window before she squished it to death.

TENNESSEE: Yes, the frog is on her head.

TENNESSEE: I let Emma feed herself one morning because she kept trying to take the spoon away from me. She looks so funny here!

TENNESSEE: My parents have a little concrete decorative puppy in their yard and it was just the right size for Emma to jump on for a ride.

TENNESSEE: Here is Emma in her cute little denim dress one Sunday before church.

TENNESSEE: Emma tries to get Frosty to come and play with her.

TENNESSEE: I LOVE this picture of Emma. I had to go out and take pictures of daylilies, so I threw some blankets and toys in the back of the Gator and let Emma play in it while I worked. She had so much fun in there!

TENNESSEE: I think that this is a really sweet picture of Emma and her daddy. She loves being able to play in the flowers and dirt!

TENNESSEE: Here is Emma on the wooden swing under the tree down by the greenhouses. She has taken a few naps on it!

TENNESSEE: Emma has become quite the farm girl. It is really no surprise to me. After all these tractor rides from Papa and four wheeler and gator rides, she can hardly stand to be inside anymore!

TENNESSEE: For "Uncle Russell's" birthday, he chose to eat at La Cazona, a Mexican restaurant here in town. Emma tried on the birthday sombrero. I think that it might have scared her a little!

TENNESSEE: This is the first time that Emma has eaten watermelon. She LOVES it!

TENNESSEE: Asleep on the four-wheeler...again.

TENNESSEE: Here is Aaron and Emma after a slightly traumatic swim in the river!

TENNESSEE: We took Emma down to the river one afternoon. She won't wear her hat, but she loves wearing her swimsuit!

TENNESSEE: Sometimes Emma falls asleep on the four-wheeler when her Jefe takes her for rides!

We took Emma to the Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point. We couldn't let her get too close to the flowers because she kept trying to eat them.

Happy Easter! Here is Emma in her Easter dress that her BB bought for her! She looked so sweet in it!

And another Easter dress picture. She has a little bruise on her cheek from falling onto the knob of the entertainment center door. She is sort of crawling, and is getting into everything!

The weather has been really nice lately, so Emma and I have been spending a lot of time outside playing in the grass (well, more like she tries to eat the grass and I try to stop her!).

Emma has discovered her feet, and she loves playing with them!

I took Emma to have her portraits made, and they turned out so cute. Here is one of the best ones. Notice how she has curled her little toes!

I guess that every baby needs a bathtub picture, so here is Emma's. Aaron fixed her hair for this picture.

Emma is growing up so fast. This is a dress that she is actually wearing in a picture in the September blog (she wore it on her first day to church)...she looks so different now! I think that this is the last time that she will get to wear this dress, so we had a picture session after church.

I laugh so hard everytime I look at this picture (I am laughing right now, as a matter of fact.) It is priceless!

I don't really have much of a comment for this picture, I just thought that it was cute.

Okay I know that this is like the third picture of Emma in this outfit with this flower, but bear with me cause there are more where this one came from. It is just so cute! I can't resist!

My baby looks so grown up in this picture. She is posing for my pictures!

I think that this is a sweet little picture.

Aaron is teaching Emma naughty things...like how to open the little doors on the entertainment center.

And she was successful in opening the entertainment center.

This is the jumper that Grandma and Grandpa Hale gave Emma at her baby shower. She LOVES it!

Is it just me or does this kid look like she is up to something?

This picture just makes me laugh! Emma is growing out of this little suit and I really wanted to get some pictures of her in it before we box it up.
