2011 Daddy Daughter Date Night

First of all, apologies to those of you who want to see my kids. Not many pictures of them in this post, but a good kid post is coming. The boys will turn three in a few days and I will see if I can come up with a good post- guaranteed to make you (or at the very least, me) bawl like a baby! Anyway, two years ago, my dad got tickets to the Daddy Daughter Date night in my hometown, which takes place on the weekend around Valentine's Day. You may remember pictures from that one. He took us all again this year, and it was so much fun!

My mom stayed home with the boys and I hope that when they are bigger, and a little easier to tote around, that she can have a date night with them while we are at date night. It sure was nice of her to keep them so Aaron and I could both go and have some fun!

Here I am with my baby sister, Katherine, who is 17 years younger than me. (Wow, actually putting that in print- with a picture of us together- makes me feel SO old!) She is several inches taller than me, and so sweet and cute. I am sure you would agree! (And, in case you are wondering, my natural hair color is most likely the same as hers. I just haven't seen mine in so long that I'm not quite sure anymore!) Here I am with my daddy! And here I am with my daddy, again, making stupid faces. (What else is new?!?) Aaron and Emma are getting ready to enjoy a yummy dinner! My daddy with his daughters... Emma got so tired from all the dancing and running around (and the one hour time difference from Eastern to Central time) that she fell asleep. My dad took the opportunity to hold her, and fall asleep himself. We had so much fun. I love going to these and swing dancing with my dad, just like we used to do when I was a teenager and little girl. It was also fun to dance and be silly with Kat- and to watch Emma and Aaron, and Emma and my dad together. What a fun time!
